Established in 2000,
we are a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to rescuing for horses and ponies from needless slaughter, abuse and neglect.
In addition to providing
emergency relief, ongoing care and rehabilitiation to our rescues, we also work within our community to provide education
regarding proper equine care and humane treatment of these beautiful animals. Our President, Penny, is a Humane Police
Officer and Cruelty Investigator.
As an independent non-profit agency, we consist of an all volunteer
staff and we are governed by our own appointed Board of Directors.
Receiving no funding or monetary
support from any State or Federal Agency, we rely solely on fundraising activities and the generous donations
of others.
